Regulate, Rest and Restore in the Byron Bay Hinterlands
A deeply nourishing retreat for people who are ready for complete rest and restoration.
If you are constantly holding tension, overthinking, overworked, bracing, shutting down, people pleasing, or living in cycles of stress and emotional overwhelm, or if you just want some tools for life this retreat is for you.
Over five days, we will gently explore what it means to move from survival mode into greater regulation, safety and self-understanding.
We designed this retreat to help you gently reconnect with safety in the body, expand your window of tolerance, and better understand the patterns, stories and protective parts that shape our lives.
Through a blend of trauma-informed psychotherapy, compassionate inquiry, somatic practices, breathwork, restorative yoga and deep rest, you will learn practical tools that you can bring into everyday life.
What Awaits You
Through a combination of workshops, group practices, and embodied experiences, you will explore:
Understand your nervous system — Understanding the states of the nervous system learn why you get stuck in fight or flight or freeze and shutdown and how to bring the nervous system back to safety.
Create safety from the inside out — through somatic practices, pranayama, and restorative yoga and yoga nidra, you'll begin to build a felt sense of safety which builds your sense of steadiness and self trust.
Meet yourself with compassion — using compassionate inquiry, you'll have the space to explore the stories and beliefs that have been running the show, perhaps causing chaos and some destructive patterns. Learn how to identify and integrate those parts cultivating a much clamer and resourced internal world.
Learn to communicate with your inner world — once you know how to create that container within yourself, you'll have the tools to work with your activated parts, not fight or avoid them, but understand what it is they need.
Move slowly. Breathe deeply. Rest completely — gentle movement, restorative yoga, yoga nidra and breathwork aren't add-ons here. They are the medicine.
